The Four Seasons Marrakech Resort was renewed in 2013 and used LSI Stone’s Portuguese limestones.

Four Seasons is a resort building with a classic Moroccan architecture located in Marrakech. The entire resort combines the contemporary urban living and the traditional Moroccan design, that can be seen in the colors chosen, antique doors or even the bedrooms predisposition.

Its design and architecture were elaborated by architects who had a special attention to the material- they chose the highest quality possible. For this project, LSI supplied limestones for the interior flooring of different areas.

The portuguese natural stone chosen was the most suitable for its purpose- flooring.

When it comes to specific areas with a lot of traffic, such as a lobby, we need to take into account several aspects, such as the stone’s durability. When it comes to areas such as interior swimming pools, other aspects are important to consider, such as the stone’s porosity.

As the project required several types of floors for various types of purposes, we chose three types of stone that fitted best each situation.

The interior flooring is lined with Limestone Azul Valverde, Cabeca Veada and Moca Cream ST. Hubert.
